WMCL participates in the H2020 BIMERR Research and Innovation Action

WMCLab participates in the H2020 BIMERR Research and Innovation Action, with 16 partners and duration 45 months. BIM-based holistic tools for Energy-driven Renovation of existing Residences – BIMERR is funded by European Commission under the program H2020-EU.2.1.5.2. – Technologies enabling energy-efficient systems and energy-efficient buildings with a low environmental impact.

The key objective of BIMERR is to design and develop an ICT-enabled Renovation 4.0 toolkit comprising tools that will support building renovation stakeholders throughout the renovation process for energy efficiency of existing buildings.
The WMCLab team will lead work related to the elicitation of stakeholders requirements, the definition of the BIMERR system evaluation methodology, the plan for the validation activities in real renovation sites and the evaluation of the BIMERR system based on renovation activities in two European countries.
