We are pleased to present our newly developed and tested 𝗪𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺. This scalable, cloud-based and remotely managed solution is specifically designed to meet the demonstration needs of the Synergies project.
The main features of the proposed architecture include:
- 𝘚𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘦 𝘉𝘰𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘳 (𝘚𝘉𝘊): Utilizing devices such as the Raspberry Pi as local data collection hubs, enabling remote access via a secure Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection.
- 𝘞𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘚𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘴/𝘈𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘴: Strategically positioned to monitor power consumption, temperature, humidity, motion and control A/C units, ensuring comprehensive environmental management.
- 𝘋𝘰𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘳 𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮: Facilitates the efficient deployment and management of applications and services within isolated containers, ensuring system stability and scalability.
- 𝘖𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘏𝘈𝘉 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘳: Facilitates data collection from sensors, rule creation for automation, device control and real-time visualization of sensor data, enhancing operational transparency and control.
- 𝘐𝘯𝘧𝘭𝘶𝘹 𝘋𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘳: Serves as a dedicated time-series database within the WSN architecture, ensuring accurate and efficient data storage and retrieval.
- 𝘋𝘢𝘵𝘢 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘳: Manages the seamless flow of data within the WSN architecture, ensuring continuous data integrity and accessibility.
- 𝘚𝘠𝘕𝘌𝘙𝘎𝘐𝘌𝘚 𝘌𝘥𝘨𝘦 𝘋𝘢𝘵𝘢 𝘍𝘢𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘤: Accommodates real-time, batch and streaming data processing, empowering stakeholders with data-driven insights and added value.
