Dimitrios E. Kontaxis was born in Athens, Greece, in 1978. In 2000 he graduated from the Electrical Engineering Department of the Hellenic Airforce Academy (First Class Hons.) and received the MSc degree in Electronic Engineering and the Ph.D. degree in 2003 and 2014, respectively, from the University of Athens, Greece. Since 2000 he has been working for the Hellenic Air Force and since 2014 he has been a collaborating member of the Wireless and Mobile Communications Lab of the University of Peloponnese. His research interests include wireless communications and MIMO systems.
